Gasp! Two posts in one day! X3

So, I have a question that's been bugging me lately. If a guy compliments you on your shoes and hair (different days), drives you across campus to your car every day, volunteers to give you a drumstick from his favorite band for free (he's going to stand in line for hours just to get in), and generally stands close to you (aka: inside your personal bubble), does that mean he likes you? o.O

Also, the swatches function in PS is totally awesome. I've only started using it since lunchtime today, but it ROCKS. X33 I can't believe I haven't been using it before now. (kinda like Caits and masking XP) I'm about 40% done on another Duskborn fanart piece since I confused my art teacher into letting me use my computer all class. (She didn't know what a pixel was. FAIL.) It's definantly a challenge learning to colour in PS instead of SAI. Much harder, and I have to be more aware of my entire screen.

Since Caits and I are behind on actually writing Duskborn, I've decided to try and self-motivate myself by putting a shirtless-standing-in-the-rain!Draco above my plot board. That way I'll look at it more often. XD If that fails, I don't know what to do.

I've managed to re-discover my love for 30 Seconds to Mars recently. Completely by accident. I found an old cd I had burned a long time ago (years), and decided to listen to it since I had shuffled through all my recent music. So it starts playing and I'm like "What is this? Hey, it's actually pretty awesome." I then spent several moments trying to get the artist name to display on my cd player. When I finally did, it was like "Huh, I didn't know I had anything by them. Still cool though." And that is the way my mind works... XD
I've also found two new artists that are really cool too. Halestorm is a rock type band that has awesome music. Plus, the lead singer is very pretty and has an interetsing voice. The other is Lily Allen. She's a bit odd, but so fun to listen to. She is most definantly pro-homosexual, and her songs show that in some of the lyrics. "Let me be your fag hag and you can be my gay" being one example. XD

So yesterday Caits and I actually sat down and planned when we were going to have all the new Duskborn chapters posted. It's still amazing how much work the two of us can get done when we actually try. XD We came up with the schedule, a new outline, fixed up some pairing glitches, titled the next twenty chapters, and generally worked like crazy and came up with a plan we can poke the other with when we fall behind. ^-^V
Inspired by the NaNo calendars, I sat down and made myself a new background with our update schedule on it. I then proceeded to make 11 more... XDD Don't you just love artistic inspiration.

I have also decided to join Caits in a 100 icon challenge. So now I get to go scour the web for brushes, bases, and fonts so I can get started. Most likely, we'll be posting parts of our batches to the Duskborn community as we go. We're also both too lazy to censor our work and make it non-spoiler, so feel free to watch for the icons and make guesses as to what will happen. XD
I have also surpassed the realm of fan obsesstivity (is that even a word? XD). I made a floor plan for Harry when he gets to Forks. ... Yes, I am that much of a nerd. But I would rather be a nerd than a jock who has no idea what a raver is. (true story, my fellow teammates asked what a raver was when I remarked that almost half of my friends were ravers)

I'm also making a FMA t-shirt that I hope to surprise Caits with tomorrow. Yay for side-projects and procrastination! ♥

I so totally just learned the most AWESOME thing about Photoshop eva! xDDD

So, like, Windows 7 was being a b!tch and refusing to let me run my copy of CS2 on my laptop. I was all like 'Ha-ell NO!' and tried to run a compatability mode with it. It zigged when I zagged and shot me down again. x.x By this time (two days since I started), I was kinda pissed; add this to the fact that I dislike Windows 7 anyway cause it's ugly, and you have a recipe for disaster.
Today, I decided 'to hell with it' and got out my copy of CS3 and decided to just put IT in my laptop. I got it installed fine, and I got past the first part of activation. Until... it asked for my 2.3 Upgrade serial number. My disc has no number. I have the serial number for the 2.3 installation of Adobe, and the DreamWeaver serial number, not the 2.3 upgrade serial number itself. Seriously ready to throw my laptop against the wall, I called tech support to get it sorted out. Surprisingly, I got a helpful guy on the other end. It was then I found out the most awesome thing about Photoshop. YOU CAN CHALLENGE PHOTOSHOP FOR ACTIVATION! XDD
The tech support guy got me through the first screen, and then through some fancy finger configuration, I ended up in a screen giving me a challenge number and asking for a response number. IT WAS SO F-ING AWSOME! Needless to say, I now (fianlly) have a fully functional version of Photoshop on my laptop that I can use. ♥ ♥

I'll be messing around making icons in my spare time at school now. XD Take that stupid art teacher who won't teach us anything! (I've finished some awesome Duskborn stuff in her class though.)

So after nearly getting run over Tuesday, today's day of class wasn't that bad. It still sucked though. SUCKED. Luckily I remembered my cd player this time and I was able to drown out the stupidty that is my art teacher. During lunch break, I got to teach the new students how to do stuff since our teacher can't be bothered to stop preaching and just generally not explaining things to actually do anything. Like her JOB.

I drew two new pcitures for Duskborn though. ^^ A set of Esthre vampires and what shall eventually be Orion when I get around to finishing his robe. I even have a little side-story about the Orion picture. That may actually turn into a chapter if we get desperate enough. XD
Yesterday Cait and I finally went and saw New Moon for the first time (we were desperate, neither of us own the books and we needed some cute werewolves to play with). It was actually really good. Having a new director has really helped. I loved the camera angles and the pan shots. Much less like a Discovery channel special and more like an actual movie. The special effects were awesome too. Vamps are finally cool again. Except Edward, he still fails.
Jacob was amazingly cute though. X3 Back when I was a Twilight fan (back when it was orginally released), I was more of a Jacob fan anyway, and he definately lived up to my expectations. Cait and I both got distracted wacthing the raindrops fall off his ears, hair, and over his shoulders to notice some parts of the film, but well, anyone who has seen the movie can agree with up. XD
After the movie, during our normal critique/brainstorming session, we came up with the MOST AWESOMENESS IDEA EVA. But I can't tell you what it is yet. XP It'll show up in about twenty chapters in a certain house in Forks... This is just to let you guys know that we do actually plan this thing out, we don't just write whatever, whenever.
We still haven't paired Draco with anyone yet, but I have a few ideas. ~.^

Currently, I'm trying to  finish up the last four chapters of CinderAllen so I can focus on Duskborn and Caged Bird (which, yays, I actually have outlined but not written yet). Cross is being a drunk, and I still have to write a cute scene with Tyki/Allen. And considering I haven't done anything with DGM in months...this will be interesting. I have also lost my VHS player, so no watching Cinderella to see how the orginal story ends.

Sighs, off to write like 6 new chapters of fanfiction in five hours. Fangirl gods help me.
