Smoking?

Was in the middle up typing up the app for my new character on Bad Romance when I realized something.

Nicotine from cigarettes passes into the bloodstream from the capillaries in the lungs, and from there heads into the brain and localizes in various nerve clusters. Now, since vampire hearts don't beat and cause blood to flow, nicotine technically won't really affect them. Which means the benefits of smoking are negligible as the smoke will not reach the brain.
Of course, the detriments of smoking don't really hurt them either. I mean, what kind of vampire would die from lung cancer?

So, my question is this, besides looking sexy as hell, why would a vampire take up smoking after his turning? o.O

The majority of smokers I have talked to about smoking have said the hardest thing about smoking to quit isn't the addiction to nicotine: it's the habit of always having the cigarette in their hand that's the addiction.
Some people needed it to write, some people needed it to drive, some people needed it at a certain time everyday- it's just habit!

So, my vote: yes.

XD So did not answer my question dearie. Ezio never smoked before he was turned, therefore no habit to break (although what you said is true, I've heard the same from many people).
I was more curious as to why a vampire would start smoking after being turned since it does nothing for them really.
